Local people have the right attitude for growing citrus fruits, especially lemons, which they have been growing for the past 700 years according to the locals, St.Francis along with few other local people started farming lemons along the lake side. The famous “castle lemon house” is situated in Limone del Garda and receives thousands of visitors every year. The first ever lemon house built here was in the 17th century, today there are hundreds, visitors will never forget their vist to the Lemon Gardens.
