Activities in Lake Garda
Windsurfing.

Lake Garda has all sorts of sports available, the upper lake garda is the ideal place for wind surfing, for thrilling surfing the ideal conditions are when there are gusty, cutting the waves you can fly on the board like you can in the French Riviera, on Lombard shore which is situated in the heart of Garda park, surfers arrive early and hit the waves created by the northern Peler wind.

The waves are very tall, so much so that you can jump with the board, looping in the waves is also enjoyed by the surfers, some distinguished athletes design their own sails and boards, Wind surfers normally meet at the Pier Hotel on the Gardesana road in Lake Garda which is their most popular meeting point.

Sailing.

Horse riding.

Horse riding is one of the latest trends for exploring Lake Garda's shores, many international horse shows have been organized in Lake Garda which increased the interest for this sport, the green oases around the lake, stimulates interest of the horse riders and increased the success of the sport, there are various specialized horse riding centres overflowing with the people who go there to learn horse riding and also exploring Garda on horse back.

They offer various courses for beginners as well as advanced riders and also organize different excursions. Due to the mild climate, Spring and Autumn seasons are best times for for horse riding excursions. Diving.

The area has walls up to 1.200m altitude and also offers boulders and rocks suitable for rock climbing, some rock climbers climb up artificial walls so as not to harm nature.
